Green Building
This group is a discussion group about green building. Green building
encompasses many different areas such as: energy reduction, renewable
energy, water efficiency, indoor air quality, proximity to mass transit and
community, community development with all levels of income, reusing sites,
buildings and materials, and the beauty of buildings. Two programs that we
can discuss are the US Green Building Council's LEED programs and the Living
Building Challenge as well as other good programs.

We will foster the burgeoning community of experienced young growers, provide support, and facilitate action toward an abundant future. Weekly meetings and simultaneous potlucks (A2, Detroit, Lansing) every month; join our mailing list for specific dates.

Rain Water Management
Our group is interested in acquiring and sharing expertise and best
practices in the field of storm water/rainwater management. We intend to
construct a demonstration project that illustrates the effective management
of rainwater as a resource to be conserved and used, rather than a problem
requiring disposal. Next steps are still to be determined. We do not have a regular meeting time or place. This group is open to everyone.
